Social Media Coordinator
Job Summary :
We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator under the business domain Global Surf Digital
Media LLC (https://www.globalsurf.ae/) to support the social media team in planning,
executing, and monitoring day-to-day activities for brands. This is a hands-on role
focused on coordination, scheduling, content support, and reporting to ensure smooth
execution across platforms.
Job Responsibilities :
• Execute the social media content calendar for multiple brands in a timely manner.
• Schedule and publish posts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok,
and others, using social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta tools and third
party schedulers).
• Collaborate closely with design and marketing teams for content execution.
• Collect and organize performance data (reach, engagement, followers, clicks, etc.) and
prepare simple weekly/monthly reports.
• Research trends, competitor activity, and new content ideas relevant to each brand.
• Coordinate internal approvals and ensure posts go live as per plan and deadlines.
• Support real-time posting and content needs as they arise.
• Proactively share relevant trends, content ideas, viral content, and cultural moments with
the team
Required Skills & Qualifications :
• 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or a similar role (agency
experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn,
TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat) and how content performs on each.
• Strong communication skills, with high attention to detail in scheduling and post
checks.
• Comfortable working with content calendars, Excel/Sheets, and basic reporting.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• High attention to detail, especially in publishing, tagging, and copy.
• Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
• A genuine passion for social media and culture.
• Foundational AI literacy, including experience with generative AI tools, and a proactive
mindset to experiment with new technologies.
