SEO Specialist

Job Summary :
We are looking for a SEO Specialist under the business domain Global Surf Digital Media LLC
(https://www.globalsurf.ae/) to support the planning and execution of search engine
optimization strategies across multiple platforms. In this role, you will work closely with the
digital marketing team to improve website visibility, increase organic traffic, and enhance
search rankings. The role will also focus on optimizing content for AI-driven search
experiences (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) and ensuring visibility across
emerging search interfaces beyond traditional SERPs. The ideal candidate will have a solid
understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, content optimization, and
performance tracking. You will be responsible for monitoring search trends, identifying
content gaps, and ensuring all SEO efforts align with broader marketing goals. Additionally,
you will contribute to improving content discoverability in AI-generated answers and zero click
search environments.

Job Responsibilities :
• Develop, implement, and manage SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and
drive qualified traffic.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and site audits to identify opportunities
for growth.
• Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for on-page SEO best practices.
• Optimize content for AI search visibility, including structuring content for featured snippets,
AI summaries, and conversational queries.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics,
Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
• Track and analyze performance across both traditional search (SERP rankings, clicks) and AI
driven visibility (AI citations, answer inclusion, zero-click trends).
• Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are
properly implemented
• Build and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search visibility.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
• Stay updated with AI search developments, including Google AI Overviews and generative
search platforms.
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (site speed, crawl errors, mobile optimization,
etc.).
• Prepare regular performance reports and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for programmatic SEO, topical authority building, and content scaling
strategies.
• Able to independently plan and manage SEO activities for multiple projects with minimal
supervision.
• Fully owns organic performance across assigned projects and proactively identifies new
growth opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications :
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SEO and digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
• Experience with keyword research, content optimization, and link-building strategies.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs,
SEMrush, or similar.
• Understanding of AI-driven search behavior and how content is surfaced in generative
search platforms.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, website structure, and CMS platforms like WordPress
• Ability to analyze website performance metrics and prepare actionable reports
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with content,
design, and development teams.
