LINUX ADMINISTRATOR (IT ENGINEER / DEVOPS)

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Administrator to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. This role is responsible for designing, maintaining and continuously improving our intercontinental network and Linux server environment, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across multiple global locations.

This is a mission-critical role for professionals who enjoy working in large-scale, high-performance infrastructure and are passionate about open-source technologies and automation.

Your Mission:
• Plan, design, and maintain our intercontinental network across six global locations.
• Optimize our data center packet-switching infrastructure for reliability, low latency, and high throughput.
• Keep our network secure using OpenBSD firewalls and manage customer connections via leased lines and VPNs.
• Develop and enhance automated network configuration tools using 100% open-source software (e.g. Ansible, Python).
• Participate in a rotating on-call system (approximately one week in five, fully compensated).
• Work in a 24/7 shift environment to ensure uninterrupted infrastructure availability
• Assist in maintaining our fleet of ~600 Linux servers (Debian 12, CentOS 8).
• Expand your expertise by learning technologies such as Kubernetes and Puppet.

Your Profile:
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration and networking.y
• Programming experience in at least one scripting language, ideally Bash, Perl, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and networking, with proficiency in command-line operations.
• Experience with Icinga, Puppet, Hiera, Linux KVM, Git, Facter, Ansible, or MySQL is desirable.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools, switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Experience working in 24/7 operations or data center environments will be an added advantage.
