About the Role
You will lead a growing, multi-disciplinary AI engineering team, shape the agent and platform architecture roadmap, and work directly with clients to co-create AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product thinking, and business strategy. You will be the go-to voice for AI inside Artech and in front of clients.

Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Vision
● Identify emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and models (LLMs, agents, RAG, multimodal) and assess their applicability to our service portfolio.
● Establish AI governance principles covering model usage, token optimization, cost management, and responsible AI practices.
Team Leadership & Culture
● Lead, mentor, and grow the AI engineering team (currently comprising AI engineers, FDEs, and platform specialists across Kochi and Bangalore).
● Foster a high-agency, experiment-first culture where engineers feel empowered to build, break, and iterate fast.
● Drive peer-led AI upskilling programmes; elevate the entire org's AI maturity, not just the core AI team.
● Define career tracks and performance expectations for AI engineers, including the Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) programme.
Product & Platform Delivery
● Lead end-to-end delivery of AI-powered products: agentic platforms, compliance automation, KYB/KYC pipelines, FinOps dashboards, and client-facing AI portals.
● Evaluate and integrate third-party AI platforms (e.g., Lyzr Agent Studio, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude API) and make strategic build-vs-buy decisions.
● Ensure AI solutions are production-grade scalable, observable, secure, and cost-efficient.
● Set quality standards, review architectures, and be the final bar-raiser on technical decisions.
Client & Commercial Engagement
● Act as a trusted AI advisor to key clients — co-design solution blueprints, run discovery workshops, and present roadmaps at CXO level.
● Support pre-sales and proposal teams with AI-led propositions, effort estimates, and proof-of-concept scoping.
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
● 8+ years of overall experience, with at least 3–4 years in AI/ML engineering or AI product leadership.
● Hands-on proficiency with LLMs and agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, Lyzr, AutoGen, or similar); you must be able to build alongside your team.
● Deep understanding of prompt engineering, RAG architectures, vector databases, and model evaluation.
● Experience shipping AI products to production, not just prototypes or internal tools.
● Strong stakeholder communication skills — you can translate complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences effortlessly.
● Demonstrated ability to hire, grow, and retain high-performing engineering teams.
● Proven track record of delivering within budget and timelines in a services or product environment.
Nice-to-Haves
● Domain experience in fintech, payments, or regulated industries.
● Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, or enterprise AI compliance frameworks.
● Experience with cloud AI services on AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker) or Azure (OpenAI Service).
Education & Pedigree

Equivalent experience considered: Outstanding self-taught or non-traditional engineers with a compelling portfolio of shipped AI products will be considered on merit.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Senior QA Engineers and QA Leads with a strong background in Banking, Payments, or FinTech to join our growing engineering team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of mission-critical financial applications while driving automation and quality engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
* Perform Manual and Automation Testing for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
* Validate payment processing, transaction workflows, reconciliation, and settlement processes.
* Conduct API, Database, Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing.
* Implement and maintain automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
* Perform mutation testing and promote modern quality engineering practices.
* Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
* Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
* Ensure compliance with financial, security, and regulatory standards.
* Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency.

QA Lead – Additional Responsibilities

* Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers.
* Define QA strategy, test governance, and quality metrics.
* Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvement.
* Manage test planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
* Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.
* Review test artifacts, reports, and quality dashboards.

Required Skills

* Strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
* API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
* Database testing using SQL.
* Performance testing using JMeter or equivalent tools.
* Automation experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
* Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
* Experience with defect management tools such as Jira.
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Domain Experience

Mandatory experience in one or more of the following:

* FinTech

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in payment reconciliation and settlement testing.
* Knowledge of ISO 8583, PCI-DSS, or financial messaging standards.
* Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* ISTQB Certification is an added advantage.
