Infopark Cherthala is the second satellite campus of Infopark Kochi under the Hub and Spoke Model. Located in Pallipuram village, Cherthala taluk of Alappuzha District. Kerala State IT Infrastructure Limited (KSITIL) is the principal developer of the Project and Infopark acts as a Co-developer here for creating IT Buildings and other infrastructure. Total area of the park is 66 acres of which 60 acres has been notified as a sector specific Special Economic Zone by the Ministry of Commerce.

Government of India vide notification dated 8th June 2009. This campus became operational in 2011 by the launch of the First IT Building by Infopark named ‘Chaithanya’ with a super built-up area of 2.4 lakhs sq.ft. Six plots each measuring 4.5 to 5 acres for IT companies and co-developers and one plot of approx. 9 acres for commercial applications have been earmarked for long term leasing .The park has an own 110 kV substation, water treatment/ storage tanks, effluent treatment plant ,power distribution facility ,internal road system / walkways ,drainage system etc. land scaping with water bodies will also be developed. Infopark Cherthala is having the first IT Building named ‘CHAITHANYA’ with a total built-up area of 2,40,000 sq.ft is now operational. The G+3 Floor building is well equipped with all supporting facilities includes 100% DG backup, Bank, ATM, Food Court, Conference Hall, Training Hall, Discussion Room, Shopping centres etc. The IT Building offers both Plug n Play and warm shell options for the Companies. The building will have own power receiving and distribution system, HVAC plant, Fire protection facility, data and communication connectivity, STP etc.

Co-Developer Projects

Like in Kochi, the Infrastructure development of all the IT parks under Infopark is proposed to be completed with the participation of Private Developers. At Cherthala campus of Infopark, Government has invested for the initial development of the IT Buildings and other support infrastructure. Kerala State IT Infrastructure Limited (KSITIL) is the main developers of the Cherthala campus and Infopark is one of the Co-developers here. More land parcels are available for the future development of the campus. These land parcels will be offered to the Private Developers for the Co-development of more IT Building infrastructure and other supporting facilities.

Infopark offers land for setting up of exclusive IT campuses of the Companies. Approx.46 acres of land parcels area available on lease for setting up of Campuses.

Stable and Quality Power

Infoparks Kerala is a power licensee at Cherthala. We have a 110/11 kV substation designed for the total Campus, able to distribute 25MVA of Power at Infopark Cherthala. Also there are provisions for expanding the capacity of the same. Power to the substation is through dedicated underground cables and supply is tapped from two different feeders of Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB).

Building Power System
Power supply to ‘Chaithanya’ IT building is through dedicated 11 kV Feeder from the 110 kV substation of Infopark Cherthala. The building 11 kV /433V substation includes two numbers of transformers with a rating of 1250 kVA each. Power back up to the building is ensured through 2 nos. of DG sets with a capacity of 1010 kVA each. Power to each floor of the building is distributed through Rising Mains with an inbuilt option to plug in Tap off boxes. Operation and Maintenance team is available 24X7, if any support is required.
