UI Developer

About the Role
We are looking for a UI Developer who turns designs into clean, responsive, high-performing web interfaces. You will work across a portfolio of concurrent client website projects — marketing sites, e-commerce storefronts, and content-driven platforms — built on modern
frameworks and headless CMS tooling. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and QA to ship polished, pixel-accurate work on time.

What You will Do
Build responsive, cross-browser web interfaces from Figma designs with precise attention to spacing, typography, and interaction detail.
Write semantic, accessible, and maintainable HTML and CSS.
Develop and maintain sites using Next.js and modern JavaScript.
Integrate front-ends with headless and traditional CMS platforms (Sanity, WordPress, Shopify, and others).
Define content schemas/models and bind them to front-end components.
Optimise for performance (Core Web Vitals), SEO best practices, and accessibility (WCAG).
Partner with UI/UX designers to implement and maintain design systems.
Support QA and release cycles by resolving bugs and acting on review feedback.
Manage work across multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.

Must-Have Skills
Strong, hands-on expertise in HTML5 and CSS3 — the core of this role.
Solid command of responsive design, Flexbox/Grid, and cross-browser compatibility.
Ability to translate Figma (or equivalent) designs into pixel-accurate interfaces.
Working knowledge of JavaScript and version control (Git).

Preferred Skills
Next.js (and React) — strongly preferred.
Familiarity with modern CSS tooling such as Tailwind, SCSS, or CSS Modules.

CMS Experience (Hands-On)
Demonstrated hands-on experience with Sanity.
Experience with one or more additional CMS platforms — WordPress, Shopify, Contentful, or similar.
Comfort defining content models/schemas and integrating them with front-end components.

Nice to Have
Understanding of SEO fundamentals and site-performance optimisation.
Familiarity with e-commerce builds (Shopify themes / Liquid).
Exposure to modern deployment workflows and CI/CD (Vercel, Netlify).
A strong eye for design, motion, and interaction detail.
