Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect - Payment Domain with 8+ years of strong experience in Python development and enterprise solution architecture.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications, along with hands-on experience in **microservices, cloud platforms, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, API architecture, DevOps, and modern integration patterns**.

Key Responsibilities

* Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
* Define application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure architecture for enterprise solutions.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
* Lead architecture discussions and provide technical direction throughout the project lifecycle.
* Define integration patterns, API strategies, and microservices architecture.
* Review and approve solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation approaches.
* Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams during implementation and deployment.
* Identify technical risks, dependencies, and appropriate mitigation strategies.
* Drive performance optimization, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery planning.
* Support DevOps, CI/CD, cloud migration, and automation initiatives.
* Participate in architecture governance, design reviews, and technical decision-making.

Primary Skills & Technical Requirements

* 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python development.
* Strong expertise in designing and developing enterprise-grade applications using modern architectural principles.
* Experience with **Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, and API Gateways**.
* **3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms.**
* **1+ year of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).**
* Hands-on experience with **Docker and Kubernetes** for containerization and orchestration.
* Strong understanding of **CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)**.
* Solid knowledge of **relational and NoSQL databases**.
* Experience with messaging technologies such as **Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus**.
* Strong understanding of application security concepts, including **OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, and enterprise integration patterns**.
* Experience working in **Agile/Scrum environments** and following Agile delivery methodologies.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Secondary Skills

The following skills will be an added advantage:

* Experience with AI/ML platforms, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, or Analytics solutions.
* Experience with **Azure Services, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric**, or similar enterprise platforms.
* **TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect**, or equivalent certifications.

Deployment & Work Location

* The candidate will be required to **work from the Trivandrum/Kochi office for the first week** of the engagement.
* **Travel and accommodation expenses for the first week will be provided by the company.**
* After the initial onsite week, the candidate can **work remotely**.
* Working hours will be **02:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST**.

Contract Duration: 6 Months
