Engineering Draftsman

Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Draftsman with experience in 3D drafting, design, and modelling. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, and AVEVA E3D, along with the ability to prepare accurate engineering drawings and models for industrial and engineering projects. Experience in Oil & Gas or industrial projects will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, and AVEVA E3D.
2. Assist engineering teams by converting conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and models.
3. Prepare, update, and maintain project drawings, specifications, and revision records.
4. Interpret technical specifications and engineering requirements for fabrication, construction, and installation activities.
5. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
6. Ensure drawings and models comply with company standards and industry regulations.
7. Prepare as-built drawings incorporating site modifications and project updates.
8. Provide drafting and design support throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Assist in troubleshooting design and drafting issues to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

1. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience as an Engineering Draftsman, preferably in Oil & Gas, Industrial, or Construction sectors.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, and AVEVA E3D.
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
5. Knowledge of GD&T, P&IDs, Isometric Drawings, and Piping Layouts.
6. Experience with document management and version control systems.
7. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
8. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in Oil & Gas or large-scale industrial projects.
2. Familiarity with fabrication and construction processes.
3. Certification in AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, or AVEVA E3D will be an added advantage.
