Job Description – Business Analyst

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with over 2 years of experience in the SaaS IT product domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather and analyze requirements, and contribute to the development and enhancement of our digital products.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
2. Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, and functional specifications.
3. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
4. Plan, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
5. Prepare test plans, track defects, and manage issue resolution.
6. Develop and maintain process flows, workflow diagrams, and project documentation.
7. Support data migration activities including mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
8. Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
9. Assist in user training, go-live preparation, and post-implementation support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development, SaaS, or implementation projects.
2. Strong hands-on experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
3. Expertise in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
4. Experience creating BRDs, user stories, functional specifications, and process maps.
5. Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical deliverables.
6. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and milestone-driven project environments.
7. Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.
8. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications:-

*Familiarity with API documentation, data models, and SaaS metrics.
*Prior experience in B2B SaaS or customer-centric product environments.
*Knowledge of SQL or basic data querying tools for analysis.

React/Node.js Developer with Solution Architecture experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
Development

▪ Build and maintain React.js frontend modules including complex forms, data grids, kiosk PWAs, and handheld-optimized interfaces
▪ Develop NestJS REST API services, background job workers (BullMQ), and PostgreSQL data models via Prisma ORM
▪ Implement and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) across all platform modules
▪ Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and uphold engineering quality standards
▪ Support Avex Aviation's production deployment as the anchor reference client

Solution Architecture

▪ Contribute to open architecture decisions across the platform — including multi-tenancy migration, modular monolith decomposition, and offline PWA strategy
▪ Participate in technical design reviews and produce architecture decision records (ADRs)
▪ Assist in defining data models, API contracts, and integration patterns for new modules
▪ Evaluate and recommend libraries, cloud services, and infrastructure patterns aligned with Azure-primary deployment
▪ Collaborate with the platform lead on roadmap items including microservices migration path and observability stack (OpenTelemetry)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: -
You must have:
▪ 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack JavaScript / TypeScript development
▪ 3+ years building production React.js applications — complex state management, custom hooks, component libraries
▪ 3+ years working with Node.js backend frameworks (NestJS strongly preferred)
▪ Solid PostgreSQL experience including query optimization, indexing, and schema design
▪ Experience with ORM tools — Prisma, TypeORM, or Sequelize
▪ Demonstrated ability to read and contribute to system architecture documentation — data flow diagrams, ERDs, API contracts
▪ Comfortable working in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and familiar with containerized deployments
▪ Experience with Git branching strategies, pull request workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
▪ Strong written communication skills — able to document technical decisions clearly

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -
▪ Experience with PWA development — service workers, offline-first patterns, mobile-responsive kiosk UIs
▪ Familiarity with message queue systems: BullMQ, RabbitMQ, or equivalent
▪ Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS architecture — schema-per-tenant, row-level security, tenant isolation
▪ Experience with OpenTelemetry or equivalent observability instrumentation
▪ Knowledge of RBAC design patterns and security-first API development
▪ Experience working in a lean, product-driven startup or consultancy environment
▪ Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
