Sales & Purchase Associate
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales & Purchase Associate to support our aircraft aftermarket operations. The role involves coordinating with customers and suppliers, sourcing aircraft parts, handling quotations and purchase orders, maintaining records, and supporting smooth sales and procurement activities.This position is ideal for someone starting their career in the aviation aftermarket industry and looking to develop expertise in aircraft parts sourcing, customer and vendor coordination, and commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in sourcing aircraft parts and components, including rotables, consumables, and expendables, from customers, vendors, and surplus suppliers.
Handle customer and vendor inquiries, RFQs, quotations, pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
Prepare and process purchase orders and sales quotations accurately and on time.
Coordinate with customers and vendors regarding order requirements, pricing, availability, and delivery.
Follow up on sales opportunities, quotations, purchase orders, shipments, and pending requirements.
Maintain and update sales and purchasing records, inventory data, harvest lists, and other relevant information using MS Excel and ERP/CRM systems.
Track shipments and coordinate with internal teams to resolve order discrepancies, delays, and other issues.
Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Teardown teams to align customer requirements, purchasing activities, and part availability.
Assist in evaluating vendor quotations and conducting cost and price comparisons.
Support documentation compliance, including aircraft parts traceability, 8130-3, EASA Form 1, and Certificates of Conformance.
Maintain organized records of customer and vendor correspondence through email and CRM systems.
Support the team in achieving sales and procurement objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in sales, purchasing, procurement, or a related field.
Aviation industry experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is an advantage; Avsight experience is a plus.
Good communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, quotations, orders, and follow-ups simultaneously.
Willingness to learn about aircraft parts, aviation aftermarket operations, and industry processes.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of aircraft parts and aftermarket operations.
Basic understanding of aircraft parts traceability and aviation documentation.
Knowledge of FAA/EASA requirements.
Exposure to aircraft teardown or surplus parts trading.
