Job Overview

We are looking for a Technical Solutions Architect with 12–20 years of experience to provide technology leadership across Product Engineering, ERP and Software Services.
The role will be responsible for solution architecture, enterprise architecture, technical consulting, customer-facing solutioning, technical pre-sales, technology strategy and engineering leadership. The candidate should be capable of translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, commercially viable and future-ready technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong architectural depth, broad technology exposure and the ability to work across business, customer, sales, delivery and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
1. Solution & Enterprise Architecture
*Design end-to-end enterprise solutions covering application, integration, data, cloud and infrastructure architecture.
*Translate business and customer requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable and cost-effective solutions.
*Define architecture standards, reusable patterns, reference architectures and technical guidelines.
*Review complex solution designs and provide architectural direction.
*Assess legacy platforms and recommend modernization and transformation strategies.

2. Technology Leadership
*Provide technology leadership and strategic direction across Product Engineering, ERP and Software Services.
*Assess current technology capabilities and identify opportunities for the next level of technology maturity and organizational growth.
*Guide Technical Leads, Developers, Architects and engineering teams on complex technical decisions.
*Act as a senior technical escalation point for critical technical, architectural and customer issues.
*Promote engineering excellence, technical ownership, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
*Identify future technology capabilities, skills, tools and roles required to support business growth.

3. Technical Strategy & Roadmap
*Develop and contribute to the organization's technology strategy and technology roadmap.
*Evaluate technology choices and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives, scalability, security and cost.
*Identify modernization opportunities across applications, ERP platforms, infrastructure and integrations.
*Define technology standards, architecture principles, engineering practices and governance frameworks.
*Evaluate emerging technologies including AI/GenAI, cloud, automation and modern application architectures.
*Support management in technology investment and strategic technology decisions.

4. Technical Guidelines – Service-Based Projects
*Define technical and architectural guidelines for service-based projects.
*Establish standards for technology selection, application architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, cloud, security and deployment.
*Provide technical inputs during solution estimation, feasibility assessment and project planning.
*Review major service project architectures and proposed technical approaches.
*Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and commercially viable.
*Identify technical risks, dependencies and delivery challenges during solution design.
*Create reusable architecture patterns, technical templates and checklists for service projects.

5. Technical Guidelines – ERP & Enterprise Solutions
*Define technical architecture and implementation guidelines for ERP and enterprise application projects.
*Establish standards for ERP customization, extensions, integrations, APIs, databases, reporting, security and deployment.
*Guide teams in deciding between standard ERP functionality, customization and external solutions.
*Define integration standards for ERP, CRM, HRMS, finance and third-party applications.
*Review major ERP solution designs and integration architectures.
*Guide ERP teams on scalability, performance, security, data management, backup and disaster recovery.
*Identify opportunities to modernize ERP solutions through cloud, automation, APIs and AI.
*Provide technical direction during complex ERP implementations and customer escalations.

6. Cloud & Modern Architecture
*Design and review Azure/AWS cloud architectures.
*Support cloud migration, modernization, scalability, availability, performance and cost optimization.
*Provide architecture guidance on microservices, APIs, SaaS, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, containers, serverless and CI/CD.
*Recommend appropriate architecture patterns based on business and technical requirements.

7. AI, GenAI & Emerging Technology
*Identify practical opportunities to apply AI/GenAI across products, services and customer solutions.
*Evaluate emerging technologies based on business value and practical applicability.
*Support AI/GenAI POCs and solution design involving LLMs, RAG, AI APIs, agents and vector databases.
*Identify opportunities for AI-assisted development, automation and intelligent business processes.
*Distinguish meaningful technology opportunities from technology hype.

8. Technical Pre-Sales & Customer Solutioning
*Work closely with Sales and Business Development as the technical solutioning partner.
*Conduct customer discovery sessions, requirement discussions and solution workshops.
*Understand customer business challenges and translate them into technology solutions.
*Prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, solution approaches and architecture documents.
*Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations and solution walkthroughs.
*Provide high-level estimation, feasibility assessment, resource planning and delivery inputs.
*Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers.
*Support technical escalations and complex customer solution discussions.

9. Commercial & Business Development Support
*Understand scope, effort, resource requirements, delivery risks and technology costs.
*Balance technical excellence with commercial feasibility and delivery practicality.
*Provide technical inputs for Fixed Price, T&M and Managed Services engagements.
*Support Sales in positioning solutions and business outcomes rather than only technical resources.
*Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities through technical discussions.
*Identify opportunities for new offerings around cloud, modernization, automation, AI, managed services and product engineering.

10. Technical Governance & Quality
*Establish and maintain technical governance across projects and teams.
*Lead or participate in architecture and technical design reviews.
*Ensure technical decisions are documented with appropriate risks, assumptions and trade-offs.
*Promote secure, scalable, reliable and maintainable architecture.
*Ensure consideration of application, cloud and infrastructure security, IAM, VAPT and compliance requirements.
*Establish standards for technical documentation, architecture diagrams and solution handover.

11. Cross-functional Leadership
*Collaborate closely with Sales, Business Development, Product, Project/Delivery, Engineering, ERP and Management.
*Bridge business requirements, customer expectations, technical capabilities and delivery realities.
*Ensure alignment between solutions proposed by Sales and actual delivery capabilities.
Support management in strategic technology and capability decisions.

Required Skills & Experience
*12–20 years of overall experience in software engineering, architecture, technology consulting or related areas.
*Strong experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting and Customer-facing Solutioning.
*Strong exposure to enterprise application architecture and system integrations.
*Strong depth in at least one major technology ecosystem, preferably Microsoft/.NET.
*Broad technology exposure beyond a single technology stack.
*Strong understanding of cloud architecture, preferably Azure/AWS.
*Experience with modern application architecture and distributed systems.
*Strong technical pre-sales, solution proposal and customer workshop experience.
*Experience working with product engineering and/or software services organizations.
*Good understanding of ERP and enterprise application environments.
*Strong understanding of technical estimation, feasibility, resource planning and delivery risks.
*Awareness of AI/GenAI and emerging technologies.
*Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
*Ability to make pragmatic technology decisions and clearly communicate technical trade-offs.
