Technical Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8/9/10 and Ubuntu environments.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and container lifecycle management.
• Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Knowledge of Docker Swarm orchestration and container networking concepts.
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance.
• Strong database administration and troubleshooting skills with MySQL and MariaDB.
• Experience managing and supporting MariaDB Galera Clusters in high-availability environments.
• Good understanding of load balancing technologies, particularly HAProxy.
• Working knowledge of web servers including NGINX and Apache HTTP Server.
• Experience with LDAP integration, authentication, and directory services.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including:

 TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, VLANs
 Firewall configuration and troubleshooting
 VPN setup and management
 SSL/TLS certificates and secure communications

• Experience managing and troubleshooting production infrastructure with a focus on availability, performance, and reliability.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting solutions such as Nagios, Icinga, and NRPE.
• Experience with source code management platforms such as Bitbucket and Git-based workflows.
• Understanding of web application architecture, deployment, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across infrastructure, networking, databases, and applications.
• Experience working in high-availability and mission-critical production environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar automation languages.
• Experience with infrastructure documentation, change management, and operational best practices.
• Knowledge of security hardening and system performance tuning for Linux environments.
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
