Finance Manager

Department: Finance & Accounting
Reports To: Group Reporting Manager/Treasury Director/Cluster Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Cluster Finance Director
Location: Kochi

Job Summary :
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial health of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, strategic financial planning, and risk management. The role includes overseeing treasury functions, maintaining internal controls, managing compliance, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the treasury function and oversee corporate financial planning on a daily and project-specific basis.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and variance analyses.
• Manage banking operations, cash flow, and financing requirements, maintaining strong relationships with
financial institutions.
• Evaluate financing options for projects, oversee debt covenant compliance, and optimize capital structure.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks including interest rate and foreign exchange exposure.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and tax laws.
• Oversee internal controls and supervise daily financial operations across modules including receivables, payables, and intercompany balances.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making.
• Lead and support internal and external audits and ensure timely submission of statutory reports.
• Critically review project cash flows and budgets, analyze deviations, and recommend corrective measures.
• Support business growth and automation initiatives, including ERP implementations.
• Mentor and manage the finance team, providing training and development support.
• Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by Group Management.
• Ensure timely filings of statutory returns and regulatory compliance with local and international corporate governance laws.

Required Qualifications:
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive financial experience with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience in treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel.
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local financial regulations.
