Business Development Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through client acquisition, revenue generation, and market expansion. This role requires close collaboration with Product, Development, Service Delivery, and IT teams to identify customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and maximize business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Achieve assigned client acquisition and revenue targets.
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
*Monitor, manage, and maximize revenue from existing customer accounts.
*Handle activities across Pre-Sales, Sales, Customer Onboarding, and Client Services functions.
*Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable business solutions.
*Conduct product demonstrations and interactive presentations for potential customers.
*Prepare customer proposals, business presentations, and detailed Scope of Work (SOW) documents.
*Coordinate with Development and Product teams to communicate customer requirements effectively.
*Gather market feedback and collaborate with the Product team for product enhancements.
*Train and support field sales teams on product features, benefits, and solution positioning.
*Assist customers during onboarding and provide initial support to ensure a smooth transition.
*Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal departments including Service Delivery and Accounts teams.
*Ensure seamless communication and coordination between stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Sc Computer Science, B.Tech, or a related field.
*MBA/PGDM/MCA is preferred but not mandatory, especially with specialization in Marketing, Sales, or Business Strategy.
*Minimum 1 year of experience in Sales, Pre-Sales, Business Development, or Solution Selling.
*Experience in SaaS, CPaaS, Telecom, IT Services, Software Solutions, or related industries is preferred.
*Strong understanding of consultative selling and customer-centric sales approaches.
*Ability to identify client requirements and propose customized business solutions.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
*Ability to understand and explain technical products and services effectively.
*Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
