Business Development Manager – IT / ITES
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across IT, ITES domains, with a strong focus on inside sales and international markets (primarily the U.S.).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building global client relationships, and managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. A strong understanding of technology-driven services and the ability to convert opportunities into measurable business outcomes is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in IT, ITES across international markets, with a primary focus on the U.S. market.
2. Drive revenue growth by managing both new client acquisition and existing client expansion (upselling and cross-selling) through inside sales channels.
3. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
4. Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and service demonstrations remotely.
5. Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, and delivery) to design tailored solutions for clients.
6. Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
7. Track sales activities, maintain CRM updates, and provide regular performance reports.
8. Represent the company at virtual and international industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
2. 3+ years of experience in business development across IT / ITES services, with a strong inside sales track record.
3. Solid understanding of technology and service-based solutions in global markets.
4. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including virtual client interactions.
6. Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships across different geographies.
7. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
