Role Overview:
We are looking for an L&D Manager to build and scale a structured learning ecosystem that drives measurable improvement in individual and organizational performance. The role will focus on aligning learning initiatives with business goals, product capabilities, and performance metrics (KPIs/KRAs).
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Strategy & Framewor:
Design and implement an organization-wide L&D strategy aligned with business and product goals.
Build structured learning pathways for technical, functional, and leadership roles.
Integrate L&D initiatives with the Performance Management System (PMS).
Capability Building (Core Focus):
Identify skill gaps across engineering, product, operations, and support teams.
Design targeted interventions for
● Product knowledge (features, architecture, use cases)
● Technical skills (coding, QA, DevOps, etc.)
● Functional skills (delivery, customer success, sales enablement)
● Behavioural skills (communication, ownership, collaboration)
Training Design & Delivery:
Develop training programs (in-house and external)
Create onboarding and continuous learning programs
Leverage SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) for internal training delivery
Ensure blended learning (classroom, e-learning, hands-on labs)
Performance-Linked Learning:
Align training initiatives to KPI/KRA gaps identified through PMS
Work closely with business leaders to improve team performance through capability Development
Build role-based competency frameworks
Measurement & Impact:
Define and track effectiveness of training programs using:
● KPI improvements
● Productivity metrics
● Quality improvements (defect rates, TAT, etc.)
● Move beyond attendance-based tracking to outcome-based measurement
Learning Infrastructure & Tools:
Implement and manage LMS or learning platforms
Create learning dashboards and reports for leadership
Enable automation and scalability of learning initiatives
Key Deliverables (First 6 Months):
Organization-wide competency framework
Skill gap analysis across functions
Quarterly learning roadmap
Role-based training programs launched
Training effectiveness measurement framework
Integration with PMS
Required Qualifications & Experience:
3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a software/product Company
Strong understanding of technical and functional roles in product organizations
Experience in building L&D frameworks from scratch
Exposure to LMS platforms and digital learning tools
Strong stakeholder management skills

Ability to translate business needs into learning interventions
Data-driven approach to measuring learning impact

Nice to Have:
Experience in SaaS / BPO / Logistics tech domains
Certification in L&D, OD, or coaching
Experience working with cross-functional product teams
Note:
This role is not limited to training delivery. The expectation is to build a performance-driven learning culture aligned with organizational goals.
