About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic IT Sales Head / IT Business Development Manager with strong exposure to international markets and a proven track record in IT sales. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in selling IT Services, Software Products, and Staff Augmentation solutions across global regions such as UAE/GCC, US, UK, Singapore, and other international markets.
The candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth, building and leading the sales function, implementing sales strategies, and closing high-value deals. This role demands strong market understanding, relationship-building capabilities, and expertise in both inbound and outbound sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive end-to-end business development and sales activities for:
o Fixed Cost Software Development Projects (Build and Transfer)
o Offshore Development Centers
o IT Services
o Software/Product Solutions
o IT Staff Augmentation
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Identify, generate, and close new business opportunities in international markets including UAE/GCC, US, UK, Singapore, and other global regions.
• Build and strengthen relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Set up, structure, and lead the sales team aligned with business goals and expansion plans.
• Strategize and implement inbound and outbound sales initiatives to generate quality leads and conversions.
• Explore and implement innovative sales methodologies, market penetration strategies, partnerships, and growth opportunities to increase business outcomes.
• Handle complete sales lifecycle including: -
Lead generation & Client meetings
Proposal creation
Negotiation
Deal closure
Account management
• Work closely with technical and delivery teams to align client requirements and project execution.
• Maintain strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM reporting.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify emerging business opportunities globally.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 10+ years of proven experience in IT Sales / Business Development and minimum 6+ experience in team management.
• Must have recent and relevant experience in IT Services, Products & Staff Augmentation.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
• Experience in handling enterprise clients, B2B sales, and strategic partnerships.
• Strong understanding of global IT market trends and sales practices.
• Expertise in inbound and outbound sales strategy implementation.
• Experience in building and managing sales teams is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and client management skills.
• Self-driven, accountable, result-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Should have travelled for international meetings several times
• Strong understanding of modern technology stacks and digital solutions that we are selling including
o Backend Technologies (.Net, Node, Python)
o Frontend Technologies (Angular, React)
o Cloud Solutions
o Mobile App Technologies (Flutter, ReactNative)
o AI & Automation
o Enterprise Products / CMS
Preferred Candidate Profile
• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period preferred.
• Current revenue handled must be 1cr or more per month.
• Strong network and client base in international IT markets will be an added advantage.
• Ability to strategize independently and drive business growth initiatives effectively.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership and execution capabilities.
