Job description

Zapare Technologies, a leading solutions provider for Revenue Management Cycle is looking for young and ambitious technology professionals to join our application development team.
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Software Quality Analyst/Engineer to join our Software engineering team. You will assist in testing, and maintaining Python-based applications, backend components, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities:
• Analyse requirements and design clear, comprehensive test cases and scenarios
• Execute both manual and automated tests for web and/or mobile applications
• Create, update, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks
• Detect, log, and track defects, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up to closure
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product stability
• Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes

Skills / Desired Candidate Profile:
Must Have:
• Basic understanding of software testing principles, including SDLC and STLC
• Hands-on exposure to automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Understanding of test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest
• Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and suggest solutions
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset

Should have:
• Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices
• Familiarity with writing basic SQL queries for data validation

Good to have:
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technologies
• Familiarity with Git
• Knowledge of Medical Billing and Insurance domain
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
