Role Overview
The Product Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of enterprise software products such as HRMS, ERP, and NBFC.
This role combines responsibilities of:
• Project Manager
• Product Owner
• Business Analyst
The role requires strong delivery management capability along with the ability to prepare structured functional documentation such as BRD, FRD, Use Cases, and user workflows when required during product design and development phases.
The primary objective of this role is to ensure that product features are delivered on time, meet business requirements, and maintain high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
1) Product Planning and Delivery
• Plan and manage product development activities
• Define release plans and milestones
• Track progress against schedules
• Identify and mitigate risks
• Coordinate with development and testing teams
• Ensure timely delivery of product features
• Monitor workload and resource utilization

2) Requirements Management
• Gather and analyze business requirements
• Clarify functional and operational workflows
• Define system behavior and business rules
• Convert business requirements into clear functional specifications
• Ensure requirements are complete and unambiguous
• Maintain requirement traceability

3) Documentation Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain structured documentation including:
• Business Requirement Document (BRD)
• Functional Requirement Document (FRD)
• Use Case Specifications
• User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
• Workflow Diagrams
• Functional Specifications
• Change Request Documentation
• Release Notes
• User Manuals (when required)
Note: Documentation activities are typically required during product design, new module development, and major enhancements.

4) Stakeholder Coordination
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and business users
• Conduct requirement discussions and review sessions
• Facilitate design and planning meetings
• Provide status updates to management
• Ensure alignment between business and technical teams

5) Quality and Release Management
• Review completed features against requirements
• Validate functionality before release
• Coordinate system testing and user acceptance testing
• Approve release readiness
• Ensure defects are tracked and resolved

6) Change and Issue Management
• Evaluate change requests
• Assess impact on scope, timeline, and cost
• Prioritize enhancements and fixes
• Maintain issue and change logs

Experience Requirements
Preferred:
• 6 to 10 years experience in software product or enterprise application delivery
• Experience working on ERP / HRMS / Finance / NBFC systems is highly desirable
• Experience preparing functional documentation
• Experience coordinating development and testing teams

Education
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Engineering / Business
• Equivalent practical experience is acceptable
