Senior MuleSoft Integration Consultant
YOUR ROLE
We are supporting one of the largest MuleSoft customers in Europe in the energy sector. For a large‑scale Salesforce, SAP and MuleSoft migration program, we are looking for experienced MuleSoft professionals to strengthen the existing central team (Center for Enablement / Center of Excellence – C4E/CoE).
The program includes, among other things, the migration of integrations from CloudHub 1.0 to CloudHub 2.0.
Role Overview:
As a Senior MuleSoft Integration Consultant, you will be part of the central C4E team, responsible for the design, governance and implementation support of integration solutions across Salesforce, SAP and other core systems. You will drive architectural and design decisions, handle complex edge cases, and support project teams in critical situations (“fire fighting”) while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. A key part of your role will be supporting and guiding the migration of existing solutions from CloudHub 1.0 to CloudHub 2.0.
Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design
Design end‑to‑end integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API‑led connectivity).
Define integration patterns, standards and best practices (incl. security, performance, reusability).
Translate business and migration requirements into scalable technical integration designs.
Migration & Delivery
Support a large, multi‑year migration from legacy integrations to MuleSoft and target systems (Salesforce, SAP).
Plan, design and support the migration of applications and APIs from CloudHub 1.0 to CloudHub 2.0, including remediation and optimization where required.
Identify and address complex edge cases and non‑standard integrations.
Support project teams in troubleshooting, performance tuning and incident resolution.
C4E / CoE Responsibilities
Act as a key member of the central C4E/CoE team, enabling and guiding distributed development teams.
Define and enforce governance, coding standards, review processes and quality gates.
Contribute to and maintain reusable assets, templates, reference architectures and guidelines.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to MuleSoft developers and integration teams.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, product owners, business stakeholders and vendor teams.
Communicate architectural and design decisions as well as migration approaches clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Support roadmap definition and architectural planning for the integration landscape.
YOUR PROFILE

Deep, broad understanding of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center, Runtime Manager, Exchange, API Manager, CI/CD).
Proven experience in designing and implementing complex integration solutions (API‑led, microservices, event‑driven).
Experience working in or closely with a central integration team (C4E/CoE) in a large organization.
Demonstrated ability to handle complex edge cases and production incidents (“fire fighting”) in high‑criticality environments.
Solid experience with large migration or transformation programs (e.g. legacy to MuleSoft/Salesforce/SAP).
Practical experience with CloudHub, ideally including migration or greenfield setups on CloudHub 2.0.
Strong understanding of integration security (OAuth2, JWT, TLS, policies) and non‑functional requirements (scalability, resilience, performance).
Excellent communication skills in English; able to work effectively in international and cross‑functional teams.
High level of ownership, reliability and dedication in long‑running, large‑scale projects.
Nice to Have:
Experience in the energy or utilities sector.
Hands‑on experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce and SAP (e.g. SAP PI/PO, S/4HANA, Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud).
MuleSoft certifications (e.g. MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect, MuleSoft Certified Developer).
