Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Documentation: Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios
based on functional and technical requirements.
• API & Microservices Testing: Perform end-to-end testing of REST APIs and
microservices, including request/response validation, status code checks, payload
verification, and business rule validation.
• Defect Management: Identify and report functional defects and edge cases by
performing detailed exploratory testing across interconnected services.
• STLC Execution: Manage the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), from requirement
analysis to test closure.
• Backend Validation: Validate backend processing and data consistency where
required, including basic database-level verification.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product owners in an Agile
environment to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Reporting: Maintain test execution records and defect reports and provide regular
test status updates.
