Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both manual and automation testing, with deep expertise in Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript and API testing automation. This role will play a key part in ensuring the quality, stability, and timely delivery of our product releases.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing
Develop and execute API test automation for backend services
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards
Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle
Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and QA estimations
Improve existing QA processes, frameworks, and automation strategies
Ensure test coverage, test data management, and release readiness
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution.

Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of overall experience in Quality Assurance, including both manual and automation testing
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript
Solid expertise in API testing and automation
Experience with test automation frameworks and best practices
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
Knowledge of performance or security testing is an added advantage
Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern web applications
Experience working in Agile development environments
