Database Administrator

Job Summary:
We are looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with 2–3 years of experience to manage and support Microsoft SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in database administration and practical experience in log shipping, performance tuning, backups, CDC, data migration, and manual failover procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server

Configure log shipping and troubleshoot synchronization issues to ensure data is consistently transferred between primary and secondary SQL Server instances.

Perform manual failover in log shipping scenarios during planned maintenance or unplanned outages.

Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies for Point in time Recovery.

Monitor and optimize database performance using native tools and performance tuning techniques.

Hands-on experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing.
