DevOps Engineer

Experience: 3 - 5 years
Roles & Responsibilities
? Ensure infrastructure scalability, reliability, and security by implementing infrastructure as code
(IaC) principles.
? Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers and IT professionals to
guarantee smooth deployment, automation and management of software infrastructure.
? Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for multiple software applications and environments.
? Automate and streamline deployment processes, minimizing manual intervention and improving
system efficiency.
? Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact
and recommending adoption where appropriate.
? Troubleshoot software infrastructure issues and collaborate with the team to resolve them.
? Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure proactive management of cloud
environments.
? Ensure transparent communication with the customer
? Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards
? Document incident details, analyse root causes, and implement preventive measures.
Skill Set
? Acquaintance with software development processes and methodologies
? Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP
? Excellent scripting skills in Bash, Python or Ruby
? Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and
implement effective solutions.
? Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
? Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement security controls at the
infrastructure level.
? Experience in monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, etc
? Hands-on knowledge of Linux fundamentals, System administration, performance tuning, etc
? Good knowledge of networking, routing and switching
? Communication and documentation skills
? Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc
