- Power is supplied from a 110/11kV substation.
- Substation has two 10/12/5 MVA transformers and one 16 MVA transformer.
- Underground cables provide power to each building.
To ensure a reliable power supply to the campus, a 220kV/33kV/11kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substation has been constructed at the Phase 2 campus. The substation includes:
- Two 31.5 MVA transformers (220/33kV)
- Two 16.5 MVA transformers (33/11kV) 220kV power is supplied from the Kerala State Electricity Board's 220kV substation via underground cables.
Dedicated 11kV feeders using underground cables are provided.
Infopark Cherthala:110/11KV substation with two numbers 10/12.5 MVA transformers is provided.
Power distribution across all campuses is facilitated through underground cables, which run from the respective substations to each building. Each building is equipped with redundant 11kV/440V distribution transformers of sufficient capacity to ensure reliable power supply. Additionally, diesel generators of appropriate capacity are installed in each building as a backup power source, ensuring uninterrupted service. Automatic transfer switches are also installed in every building to enable seamless switching to backup power when needed.
