Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Manual and Automation Tester who is passionate about quality assurance and has hands-on experience in both manual testing and test automation using Selenium with Java and/or Playwright with TypeScript. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and good programming/scripting skills in Java and/or TypeScript.
Key Responsibilities;
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java and/or Playwright with TypeScript.
• Participate in requirement analysis and identify suitable areas for test automation.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Detect, report, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Maintain automation frameworks and ensure reusability, scalability, maintainability, and robustness of test scripts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation practices, and testing tools.
Technical Skills;
• Strong experience in Manual & Automation Testing – test case preparation, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Proficient in Selenium WebDriver with Java for web automation.
• Experience with Playwright and TypeScript for modern web application automation.
• Good understanding of Java programming – OOP concepts, collections, exception handling, etc.
• Good understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript and basic programming concepts.
• Experience with TestNG / JUnit and Maven / Gradle.
• Experience with Playwright test features such as locators, assertions, fixtures, test execution, and reporting.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or REST-assured is a plus.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• ISTQB or similar certification is an added advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is a plus.
• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.
• Experience with both Selenium and Playwright is preferred.
