Technical Project Manager – AI, Data & Cloud

Job Description:
About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Project Manager who can actively contribute to coding, architecture, and technical delivery — not just coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong engineering background and prior experience as a Developer, Solution Architect, or Tech Lead before moving into delivery leadership.
You will be responsible for leading end-to-end technical delivery, collaborating with engineering teams, driving architecture decisions, and ensuring successful delivery of scalable cloud-native, AI-driven, and data-centric platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to work on impactful AI, analytics, and cloud transformation projects with strong engineering ownership.

Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end technical delivery including planning, architecture, sprint execution, QA, deployment, and post-release stability.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, cloud-ready technical solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design APIs, system architecture, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Participate hands-on in architecture reviews, prototyping, PoCs, code reviews, and technical troubleshooting.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for engineering, DevOps, QA, data, and product teams.
• Lead delivery of AI/ML, analytics, and data-driven solutions ensuring reliability, scalability, and data integrity.
• Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
• Maintain project plans, delivery metrics, technical documentation, and risk management processes.
• Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and leadership teams to align business and technical goals.
• Work with US-based stakeholders and participate in technical planning, governance, and delivery discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (B.Tech / BE / BS in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field) is mandatory.
• 10+ years of IT industry experience with 3+ years in Project Management, Technical Delivery, or Program Management.
• Strong technical background with prior experience as a Developer, Solution Architect, or Technical Lead.
• Proven expertise in system architecture, code reviews, and full-stack application design.
• Experience delivering AI, analytics, or data-driven platforms including dashboards, analytics pipelines, and ML-enabled solutions.
• Strong understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics workflows.
• AWS Cloud Certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner minimum; Associate or Professional preferred).
• Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Experience with DevOps and MLOps workflows is an added advantage.
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Exposure to big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Experience working with multi-cloud environments including Azure or GCP.
• Knowledge of microservices, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems.
• Experience in product-based or startup environments.
• Exposure to budgeting, resource planning, and delivery forecasting.
• Prior experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Utilities domains is preferred.
