We are looking for experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join our team in based out of our Kochi location with hybrid work options. Responsibilities

1. Support and maintain basic networking infrastructure, including Layer 2 switching, Layer 2 separation, and Layer 3 routing.
2. Assist with configuration and management of firewall rules and security settings to ensure secure network operations.
3. Perform first-level network troubleshooting and issue resolution and configure and maintain basic network hardware setups.
4. Support compliance efforts through a basic understanding of ISO 27001 and TISAX frameworks.
5. Manage and administer Microsoft Intune for software deployment, policy management, reporting, and device enrolment (Microsoft Autopilot, Apple DEP, Google ZeroTouch).
6. Administer Microsoft Cloud services, including Entra ID, Conditional Access policies, Risky User management, Enterprise Applications, SAML configurations, and Entra Connect.
7. Utilize Microsoft Security Portal for threat management and compliance monitoring.
8. Administer and support Exchange Online environments and manage and configure Microsoft Teams settings and permissions.
9. Administer Windows Active Directory, including user and group management.
10. Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline administrative tasks.
11. Provide support and configuration expertise for Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.

Requirements

The ideal candidate would be a graduate with minimum 10+ years of proven work experience as an IT Administration or similar role. In additional to this you will need to meet the following requirements:

1. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for software deployment, policy configuration, reporting, and device enrollment (e.g., Microsoft AutoPilot, Apple DEP, Google ZeroTouch) and supporting Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems.
2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Cloud services, particularly Entra ID, Conditional Access, Risky Users, Enterprise Applications, SAML, and Entra Connect.
3. Experience managing Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams, including administration and configuration tasks.
4. Solid experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and streamlining IT processes.
5. Solid experience with Atlassian Cloud (Jira, Confluence), including automation, service desk configuration, and migrations from Data Centre to Cloud.
6. Scripting experience with Script Runner for Jira/Confluence and strong documentation skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs (SSL & IPSec), and firewall configurations.
2. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortigate and Sophos firewall environments, including firewall rule management and VPN connectivity.
3. Administer and support virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi and Proxmox.
4. Manage backup and recovery operations using Veeam Backup solutions.
5. Maintain and support Linux servers across Ubuntu, CentOS, and Debian distributions.
6. Configure and manage enterprise storage systems including Huawei and QNAP storage solutions.
7. Support and maintain server hardware infrastructure, primarily DELL servers.
8. Configure and troubleshoot network devices including HPE/Aruba, Huawei switches, and Unifi Access Points.
9. Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Zabbix Monitoring System.
10. Perform system upgrades, patch management, and preventive maintenance activities.
11. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and PowerShell.
12. Support certificate management activities and maintain system security best practices.
13. Assist in troubleshooting database-related issues involving PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MySQL.
14. Ensure infrastructure availability, reliability, security, and performance across environments.

Requirements

1. Minimum 10+ years of experience is required.
2. Scripting experience in Python and PowerShell.
3. Good understanding of Linux distributions including Ubuntu, CentOS, and Debian.
4. Basic knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MySQL.
5. Basic understanding of SSL certificates and certificate management.
6. Good understanding of technical documentation, SOPs, and system configurations
7. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
8. Good communication and documentation skills.
