Power BI Developer

Job Title: Power BI Developer
Experience: 8 To 10+ Years (5 + Years of relevant experience in Power BI development)
Location: Infopark, Kochi
Employment Type: Full-time
Joining: 1 month To Immediate joiners preferred

Key Responsibilities:
• Own end-to-end delivery of Power BI solutions, from requirements definition through deployment, adoption, and ongoing optimization
• Design and maintain enterprise semantic models that enable consistent, reusable, and governed analytics
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of Power BI datasets and reports used by senior leadership
• Define and enforce Power BI standards and best practices, including modelling patterns, DAX conventions, workspace design, and dataset certification
• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure optimal integration with upstream data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, Warehouse)
• Mentor and coach BI developers and analysts, conducting design reviews and raising overall BI maturity

Required Skills:
• 8–10+ years of experience in BI and analytics, with 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development
• Proven expertise in semantic modeling and DAX, with experience supporting large, complex analytical models
• Strong background in data modeling, performance optimization, and analytics UX design
• Deep understanding of Power BI Service administration and governance, including security and deployment practices
• Experience delivering BI solutions that integrate with modern data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Azure SQL, Synapse)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate analytical concepts to executive and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration skills across data engineering, product, and business teams
