About the Role

V I Point Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Nutanix Platform Engineer to support a leading US-based managed hosting and cloud provider. The role involves building, configuring, securing, and supporting Nutanix-powered private cloud environments across management, staging, and production.

Key Responsibilities;
Deploy and configure Nutanix AOS, AHV, Foundation, and Prism Central.
Implement Flow Virtual Networking, VPCs, RBAC, tenant isolation, and microsegmentation.
Configure and validate firewall and network security across dedicated and multi-tenant environments.
Implement platform monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks.
Perform performance testing and benchmarking using Nutanix X-Ray.
Support migrations from VMware and NetApp environments using Nutanix Move.
Coordinate with data center teams on rack, cabling, switching, and network bring-up.
Troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, and networking layers.
Document technical configurations and conduct knowledge transfer to engineering and operations teams.

Required Skills & Experience;
5+ years of experience in virtualization or infrastructure engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism Central, and Foundation.
Production experience with Flow Virtual Networking, VPC design, and microsegmentation.
Strong knowledge of VLANs, routing, ToR switching, and firewalls.
Working knowledge of NetApp ONTAP, including NFS/iSCSI datastores, volumes, and LUNs.
Experience working independently in fast-paced infrastructure deployment environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to overlap with US working hours when required.

Nice to Have;
Nutanix or Nutanix partner experience.
NCP/NCM certifications.
Managed hosting or service-provider experience.
VMware-to-Nutanix migration experience.
Experience with backup/DR integrations and automation using Ansible, Terraform, Prism APIs, or scripting.
