ETL Tester

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead ETL Tester to manage and guide our testing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL processes, database testing, and team leadership. This role involves overseeing the testing lifecycle, ensuring the quality of ETL pipelines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.

Position: Senior ETL Tester
Location: Kochi, Kerala (Minimum 4 days in the office)
Experience: 5–7 Years

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ETL testers.
* Allocate tasks and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality testing outcomes.
* Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for team members.
* Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies and plans for ETL processes.
* Identify and prioritize test cases to optimize testing efforts.
* Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and guidelines.
* Perform thorough testing of ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
* Validate data integrity, accuracy, and completeness across multiple data sources and targets.
* Automate repetitive testing tasks and improve testing efficiency.
* Work closely with business analysts, developers, and data architects to understand data requirements and mappings.
* Coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines and resolve issues proactively.
* Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
* Identify, document, and track defects in the defect tracking tool.
* Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and validate fixes.


Required Skills and Experience:

* Strong expertise in SQL and database testing, with the ability to write complex queries.
* Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
* ETL testing with a focus on Snowflake and Azure Synapse will be a added advantage
* Knowledge of data quality and validation techniques.
* Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
* Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
* Proven ability to lead and manage a team of testers.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in scripting for test automation (e.g., Python, Selenium).
* Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Snowflake utilities (e.g., SnowSQL, Snowpipe).
* Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud or equivalents in software testing.

Full Stack Developer- Senior

We are seeking an experienced Developer with a strong background in Angular/ React.js, Next.js, Node.js/Python for Api development, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of front-end and back-end development principles and possess the ability to work on a wide range of projects. As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain web applications that meet our clients' business requirements.

Position: Sr. Full Stack Developer
Experience: 4-5 years
Technology Stack: Angular/React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Python, SQL

Responsibilities:

* Develop responsive web applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Collaborate with the UI/UX team to design and implement user-friendly interfaces.
* Create and optimise database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for SQL-based databases.
* Integrate front-end and back-end components using RESTful APIs and other web services.
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
* Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the performance and functionality of the applications.
* Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs and ensure software quality
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance skills and knowledge continuously.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
* Document technical specifications, system architecture, and user guides as required.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
* 5-7 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
* Strong proficiency in React.js and its respective ecosystem.
* Knowledge of Next. js-based application development
* Experience with SQL-based databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
* Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimisation.
* Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
* Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
* Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end and back-end components.
* Knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Experience with other web frameworks or programming languages is a plus.
* Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD will be an add-on.
