Project Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major enterprise ERP implementation being designed and built from the ground up.
This is a hands-on delivery role responsible for coordinating business stakeholders, product owners, functional analysts, solution architects, UX/UI teams, software developers, QA, infrastructure, data, and implementation teams. The successful candidate will establish project structure, manage dependencies, maintain accountability, and drive the program from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and go-live.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain the overall project plan, milestones, dependencies, release schedule, and implementation roadmap.
• Coordinate multiple parallel workstreams across product, business analysis, architecture, development, QA, infrastructure, integrations, data migration, training, and deployment.
• Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog readiness, release planning, project status, blockers, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain project governance including RAID logs, decision logs, dependency tracking, action items, and change requests.
• Identify project risks early, assign owners, establish mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues when necessary.
• Track requirements through design, development, testing, UAT, and production release.
• Coordinate functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, defect resolution, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Lead regular project status meetings and provide clear executive-level reporting on progress, risks, issues, decisions, and upcoming milestones.
• Manage implementation and go-live readiness including data migration, user provisioning, configuration, training, documentation, cutover planning, and production support readiness.
• Ensure cross-functional dependencies are identified and resolved before they impact delivery.
• Drive accountability across teams and challenge unclear ownership, incomplete requirements, unrealistic timelines, and unresolved blockers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of project or program management experience involving enterprise technology implementations.
• Demonstrated experience managing a significant ERP, enterprise software, digital transformation, or custom application implementation.
• Experience managing software development projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of requirements management, software development, QA, UAT, release management, and production deployment.
• Experience coordinating technical and business teams across multiple workstreams.
• Strong project planning, risk management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience in aviation, aerospace, MRO, manufacturing, maintenance operations, inventory, warehouse management, procurement, supply chain, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps is a plus. PMP or similar project management certification is preferred but not required.

Ideal Candidate: -
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically comfortable, execution-focused, and able to manage complex dependencies across business and technology teams. This person should be able to turn discussions into clear actions, owners, and deadlines, identify problems before they affect delivery, and keep a large ERP implementation moving without unnecessary project-management bureaucracy.

This is not a project coordinator role. The Project Manager will be expected to take ownership of delivery and drive the ERP implementation from design through successful production go-live.
