Software Test Engineer - 0-2 years

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with 0–2 years of experience who is passionate about software testing and quality assurance to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing customer requirements and planning, designing, and executing test cases covering all possible test scenarios to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. You should have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities
>Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications to identify issues and defects.
>Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios, including both positive and negative test scenarios.
>Identify, report, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
>Work closely with the development team, Project Manager, and clients to ensure quality, usability, performance, and reliability.
>Ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams.
>Document issues clearly, concisely, and in detail.
>Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
>Develop and document quality assurance standards and procedures.
>Continuously improve the testing process by adopting the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

Desired Profile
>0–2 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
>Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Postman, etc.
>Proficiency in bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
>Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and various software testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
>Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
>Keen attention to detail.
>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
>Ability to work effectively as part of a team with minimal supervision.
>Experience in testing web applications, mobile applications, chatbots, OTT platforms, or other digital solutions will be an added advantage.
