Roles & Responsibilities:

- Sourcing and Evaluation: Research and vet new suppliers to check their financial health, capacity, and reliability.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to protect the company and maximize savings.
- Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships with vendors and run regular performance reviews
- Budget and Spend Analysis: Track spending patterns, manage departmental budgets, and find cost-saving opportunities.
- Risk Management: Diversify the supplier base to prevent supply chain disruptions and plan for emergencies.
- Quality Control: Ensure incoming goods meet company standards and handle returns or penalties for defective items
- Cross-Department Work: Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Operations to align purchasing with company goals.
