Junior .Net Core Developer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications using .NET Core and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable software solutions that meet business requirements. This role requires a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, RESTful API development, and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain microservices using .NET Core 8
• Build REST APIs and integrate with other services
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following coding standards
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews
• Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
• Implement distributed transactions and inter-service communication
• Use ADO.NET and Entity Framework Core
• Containerize services using Docker
• Troubleshoot production and QA issues and provide timely resolutions
• Collaborate closely with QA teams for test planning and defect resolution
• Collaborate with UI development teams for end-to-end feature delivery
• Follow Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to sprint planning and reviews

Required work experience:
• Strong C# and OOPS concepts, Asynchronous programming and Exception handling
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in. NET Core 6+/8 and microservice architecture
• Experience with C# and OOPS concepts, ADO.NET, Entity Framework / EF Core
• Oracle & PostgreSQL
• Unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit)
• Git / version control
• Basics of Docker and containerization
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Must have technical skills:
1. .Net Core
2. API Development

Good to have technical skills:
• Experience with API gateways, Exposure to performance tuning and optimization, messaging/event-driven systems
