Junior Database Administrator

We are looking for candidates with 6 months to 1 years of experience for the position of SQL Server
Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain production SQL Server databases.

Responsibilities:
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2017/2019/2022).
• Understanding of database backup and recovery concepts.
• Knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Basic understanding of database security and user management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must have technical skills:
• Strong understanding of SQL Server Database Administration fundamentals.
• Knowledge of database installation,configuration, monitoring, backup and recovery.
• Understanding of database security, user management, and permissions.

Good to have technical skills:
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and basic query optimization.
• Experience in troubleshooting database- related issues and ensuring database availability.
• Knowledge of SQL Server maintenance activities, including index maintenance, integrity checks, and job scheduling.
• Understanding of High Availability concepts such as Log Shipping, Replication, Always on Availability
