Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to build and maintain scalable telecom applications that support voice services, provisioning, routing, and network management. This role is ideal for strong backend developers interested in carrier-grade telecommunications systems.
The candidate will work as part of a team of experienced engineers and developers, reporting to an Engineering Manager, and will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining backend systems that are critical to our client's telecom operations.

Essential Requirements
• 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C++, or C.
• Experience developing enterprise applications on Linux.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, networking fundamentals, and distributed systems.
• Experience building high-performance, scalable applications.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities
• Design and develop telecom software applications.
• Develop REST APIs and backend services.
• Integrate with telecom platforms and external systems.
• Improve application performance and reliability.
• Participate in software architecture, code reviews, and testing.
• Create technical documentation and support production deployments.

Nice to Have
• SIP or VoIP experience
• Telecom OSS/BSS applications
• Session Border Controllers (SBCs)
• Docker or Kubernetes
• AWS or Azure
• Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Python or Shell scripting
• Number Portability (LNP)
• Basic knowledge of SS7 or SIGTRAN

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Team & Reporting Structure
The candidate will work as part of a team of experienced engineers and developers, reporting to an Engineering Manager who will provide technical direction, mentorship, and project oversight.
