IT Remote Support

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

*Provide professional and timely IT support to users through phone, email, chat, and ticketing tools.
*Act as the first point of contact for basic technical issues and user queries.
*Assist in troubleshooting common hardware, software, Windows operating system, and basic network issues.
*Guide users through basic troubleshooting steps and seek assistance from senior team members when required.
*Create, update, track, and close support tickets under the guidance of the IT team.
*Maintain accurate records of reported issues, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and customer interactions.
*Keep users informed about the progress and status of their support requests.
*Coordinate with senior engineers and relevant internal teams to resolve technical issues.
*Learn and follow established IT support procedures, service-level guidelines, and documentation standards.
*Identify recurring technical issues and share observations with the team to help improve support processes.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

*Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field.
*Freshers are welcome. Prior experience in IT support, helpdesk, service desk, or technical support is not mandatory.
*Basic theoretical knowledge of Windows, computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills with a professional approach to user support.
*Willingness to learn remote support tools, ticketing systems, and IT service management processes.
*Ability to follow instructions, document technical issues accurately, and escalate problems when necessary.
*Willingness to work in a support environment with rotational shifts, if required, and adhere to company policies and service-level expectations.
