Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Commerce Backend Developer with hands-on expertise in building and scaling backend systems for e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Shopify, BigCommerce, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), and proficiency in app builder frameworks to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing commerce applications.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for commerce applications across Shopify, BigCommerce, and SFCC.
• Build and customize apps using Shopify App Bridge, Polaris (UI), Remix, GraphQL Admin API, Shopify CLI, and Liquid theming.
• Develop and integrate solutions with BigCommerce Stencil, APIs, and App Marketplace SDK.
• Implement and extend Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) features using SFRA, Business Manager, OCAPI/SCAPI.
• Create secure APIs for product catalogs, order management, and payment gateways.
• Optimize database structures and queries for scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end commerce solutions.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security practices, and data protection regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5–7 years of backend development experience in commerce/e-commerce platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, or SFCC tech stacks.
• Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
