Manager – Website Development Division required for JTSi Technologies India Pvt Ltd at Kochi Infopark.

The Manager – Website Development Division shall be responsible for leading, managing, and growing JTSi's Website Development Division by delivering high-quality website solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining project profitability, and driving innovation.
The Manager shall oversee the complete website development lifecycle, including pre-sales technical consultation, solution architecture, effort estimation, resource planning, project execution, quality assurance, deployment, post-implementation support, and continuous improvement.
The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, project management skills, customer engagement capabilities, and business acumen to ensure the division achieves its revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Division Leadership and Strategic Management
• Lead and manage the Website Development Division.
• Develop divisional goals, objectives, and growth strategies aligned with JTSi corporate objectives.
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, quality standards, and customer experience.
• Develop annual operating plans, budgets, and resource forecasts.
• Monitor divisional performance against revenue, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.

2. Pre-Sales Solutioning and Technical Consultation
• Work closely with the Account Executive and Sales Team during opportunity qualification.
• Review customer requirements and prototype websites submitted by the Sales Team.
• Participate in client discovery sessions whenever required.
• Validate project scope and technical feasibility.
• Recommend appropriate technology stacks, platforms, hosting solutions, integrations, and security models.
• Provide technical leadership during proposal preparation and customer presentations.

3. Scope Definition and Estimation
• Review and approve Scope of Work (SOW) documents.
• Validate project requirements gathered by the Account Executive.
• Lead technical estimation workshops.
• Approve effort estimates, resource requirements, project schedules, and implementation plans.
• Ensure commercial estimates accurately reflect project complexity and delivery effort.
• Minimize risks associated with scope ambiguity and underestimation.

4. Website Architecture and Development Leadership
• Define website architecture standards and development frameworks.
• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance websites.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security requirements, accessibility guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Oversee WordPress development, custom plugin development, API integrations, and advanced web applications.
• Ensure websites meet SEO, performance, scalability, and user experience requirements.

5. Project Delivery Management
• Oversee execution of all website development projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
• Monitor project milestones and resource utilization.
• Conduct project review meetings and delivery audits.
• Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks.
• Escalate project risks and issues to management as required.

6. Change Request Governance
• Review all customer change requests submitted through the Account Executive.
• Assess technical impact, resource implications, timelines, and costs.
• Approve effort estimates for change requests.
• Ensure no out-of-scope work is performed without approved Change Request documentation.
• Protect project profitability through effective scope control.

7. Team Leadership and Resource Management
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and retain high-performing team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and career development discussions.
• Allocate resources effectively across projects.
• Monitor productivity, utilization, and performance metrics.
• Identify skill gaps and arrange training programs.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

8. Quality Assurance and Process Compliance
• Establish development quality standards.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and project audits.
• Ensure testing, deployment, and documentation standards are followed.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to JTSi SOPs and project governance processes.

9. Hosting, Infrastructure and Security Management
• Oversee website hosting environments and infrastructure.
• Ensure website security, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity measures.
• Manage domain registration, SSL certificates, CDN configurations, and cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor website uptime, performance, and security vulnerabilities.

10. Innovation and AI Adoption
• Identify and implement emerging technologies that improve productivity and customer value.
• Evaluate and deploy AI-powered tools for:
o Website design
o Content generation
o SEO optimization
o Customer engagement
o Development automation
o Quality assurance
• Drive innovation initiatives across the division.

11. Customer Success and Relationship Support
• Support the Account Executive in maintaining key customer relationships.
• Participate in strategic customer review meetings.
• Ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Support customer retention and account growth initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance during escalations and critical customer situations.

12. Financial and Profitability Management
• Monitor project profitability and divisional financial performance.
• Review resource costs, project margins, and operational efficiency.
• Recommend pricing improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support management in achieving divisional revenue and profitability targets.

13. Reporting and Governance
• Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly divisional performance reports.
• Maintain project dashboards, resource utilization reports, and profitability reports.
• Ensure OfficeGaP remains the official system of record.
• Conduct periodic management reviews and operational assessments.

Mandatory Responsibilities
• Daily review of project progress and resource allocation.
• Ensure all project activities are updated in OfficeGaP.
• Conduct weekly project review meetings.
• Conduct monthly team performance reviews.
• Ensure all customer communications, project updates, and change requests are properly documented.
• Maintain divisional KPI dashboards and operational metrics.

Required Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Master's Degree or MBA preferred.

Experience
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Website Development, Software Development, Digital Solutions, or IT Services.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading technical teams and managing customer-facing projects.
• Proven experience managing website projects for international customers, particularly US-based clients.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and distributed teams.
