Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Interviewer with relevant experience in technical screening, candidate evaluation, and recruitment support. The candidate should have good knowledge of IT technologies and should be able to conduct initial technical discussions with candidates. Basic knowledge of US recruitment process, employment types, visa categories, and client requirements is required.
The role involves evaluating candidates for technical skills, communication, project experience, and suitability for domestic and US-based IT requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct technical screening and first-level technical interviews for IT candidates.
• Evaluate candidates based on technical skills, project experience, communication, and job fit.
• Understand job descriptions and identify the required technical skill set.
• Screen resumes and shortlist candidates for technical roles.
• Coordinate with recruiters to understand client requirements and hiring priorities.
• Assess candidates for roles such as Software Developer, Data Engineer, QA Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, and other IT positions.
• Prepare interview feedback and share clear evaluation reports with the recruitment team.
• Validate candidate experience, technical knowledge, project exposure, and problem-solving ability.
• Support recruiters in identifying suitable candidates for US recruitment requirements.
• Understand basic US recruitment terms such as W2, C2C, 1099, contract, full-time, and contract-to-hire.
• Check candidate availability, notice period, rate/salary expectations, location preference, and work authorization details.
• Coordinate with recruitment teams, account managers, vendors, and hiring managers when required.
• Maintain interview records, candidate feedback, and recruitment trackers.
• Ensure a professional candidate experience during the interview process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical screening, IT recruitment support, or technical interviewing.
• Good understanding of IT roles, technologies, and project-based evaluation.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and common technical skills.
• Basic understanding of US recruitment process and hiring models.
• Ability to evaluate candidates’ technical knowledge and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of resume screening and profile validation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide structured and unbiased interview feedback.
• Good coordination skills with recruitment and technical teams.
• Ability to handle multiple requirements and interviews.

US Recruitment Knowledge Required
• Understanding of US employment types: W2, C2C, 1099, full-time, contract, contract-to-hire
• Basic knowledge of visa/work authorization: H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, USC, EAD
• Ability to understand client requirements and match profiles accordingly.
• Knowledge of US time zone coordination.
• Familiarity with US IT job market and consultant screening process.
• Ability to verify candidate rate, location, relocation preference, and availability.
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge in US IT recruitment.
• Experience working with recruiters, vendors, or staffing teams.
• Experience conducting interviews for software, data, QA, DevOps, or cloud roles.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, or similar portals will be an added advantage.
• Ability to prepare technical screening questions based on job descriptions.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, HR, Business Administration, or any related field.
