Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst / Assoc. Project Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The role involves working with stakeholders to clarify business needs, translating them into actionable development requirements, and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to understand and document business needs and requirements.
• Maintain and prioritize requirements backlog in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure the engineering team clearly understands requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the primary point of contact for requirement clarifications and delivery coordination.
• Plan, manage, and track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
• Coordinate and facilitate regular project meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders regularly.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Define user acceptance criteria and collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance processes.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think from an end-user perspective and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in a small or startup environment.
• Technical background or understanding of software development processes.
