Test Engineer

We’re looking for a Test Engineer with strong expertise in Manual, Functional and UI testing who brings a quality-first mindset to every stage of the delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with developers, designers, and project stakeholders to validate functionality, usability, and user experience across web and mobile applications.

If you are detail-oriented, disciplined in following processes, and proactive in identifying risks early, this role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality standards our teams and clients expect.

# Responsibilities

- Take ownership of assigned quality assurance activities, ensuring high standards across project deliverables.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of test strategies, test plans, and test cases for projects.
- Perform manual functional, UI, and usability testing across web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to identify issues early and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Validate user interface designs against specifications, usability standards, and business requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects and quality risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to defined QA processes, policies, and SOPs, maintaining strong discipline and consistency.
- Communicate proactively to highlight dependencies, risks, and quality concerns within the QA team and across project teams.
- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on processes, tools, and testing practices.
- Effectively manage multiple assignments while maintaining focus on quality and timelines.

# Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in Manual Testing for web and mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience in UI / design-focused testing, with strong attention to visual and usability details.
- Ability to create, execute, and maintain test cases covering functionality, usability, and user experience.
- Strong ability to identify defects and quality gaps early in the development lifecycle.

# Bonus Points

- Experience working with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Exposure to GUI and API automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with agile delivery models and collaborative QA practices.
