Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Loan Processor to support end-to-end loan processing activities. The role involves assisting with document verification, coordination with underwriting, and supporting loan files through closing, post-closing, and servicing stages while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
· Support loan processing from application setup through underwriting
· Assist with loan origination and documentation support activities
· Collect, review, verify, and analyse borrower and property documents
· Order, track, and manage third-party documents including payoffs, insurance, credit supplements, MI, and translations
· Validate property profiles and maintain accurate documentation across multiple systems
· Coordinate with underwriting teams to submit complete and compliant loan files
· Resolve routine title and escrow-related issues and verify approval conditions
· Support loan closing, post-closing, loan boarding, and servicing activities
· Provide documentation support for default and foreclosure cases, as required
· Update and maintain loan data in systems, trackers, and workflow tools
· Prioritize tasks to meet SLAs and closing timelines
· Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
· Deliver high-quality customer service while adhering to QC, compliance, and internal process guidelines
· Work under the guidance of Underwriters, Team Leads, and Quality teams without direct credit decision authority.
Preferred Skills
· Graduate with 0–3 years of experience in loan processing, mortgage operations, or financial services
· Understanding of loan or mortgage processes
· Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
· Good communication, coordination, and customer service skills
· Ability to work in a paperless, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
· Flexibility to work night shifts and extended hours when required
· Basic proficiency in MS Excel, PC tools, and loan processing systems
· Willingness to learn underwriting, closing, and servicing processes
