Technical Delivery Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for a high-impact Technical Delivery Manager to lead our engineering team in Kochi. This is a hands-on technical leadership and delivery ownership role — not a hands-off management position.

You will be the primary technical point of contact for our clients in the USA and Canada, responsible for system architecture, database design, and ensuring the development team meets every milestone. You must be comfortable managing the full lifecycle of web and mobile applications while staying deeply involved in the code and AWS infrastructure.

Technical Stack
Backend: PHP & Node.js
Frontend: Angular
Mobile: iOS & Android
Database: Expert-level SQL (Schema design & performance optimization)
Cloud: Hands-on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)
E-commerce: Experience with Amazon Seller Central API or similar integrations
Management Tools: Expert-level JIRA & Agile Scrum methodologies

Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Agile Management (Primary)
Sprint Leadership: Own and manage 2-week Agile sprints; translate features into granular tasks in JIRA.
Accountability: Assign tasks to developers and track team velocity and productivity to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
Client Communication: Lead technical discussions and provide professional weekly status updates to North American clients.
QA & Release: Oversee the full QA process, bug tracking, and release management to ensure high-quality deployments.

2. Technical Leadership & Architecture
System Design: Work with the Architect to design scalable, high-performance web and mobile architectures.
Database Management: Take ownership of database design, schema management, and query optimization.
Code Quality: Conduct mandatory code reviews, solve complex technical blockers, and enforce coding standards.
AWS Management: Manage the AWS environment to ensure applications are secure, scalable, and optimized.

3. Team Coordination
Resource Management: Coordinate with internal developers and external consultants to ensure clear task ownership.
Problem Solving: Act as the final technical escalation point to remove blockers for the development team.

Qualifications
8–12 years of total experience in Software Development.
3+ years in a Technical Lead or Delivery Management role.
Global Exposure: Proven experience managing international clients (specifically USA/Canada).
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
Availability: Must be able to work from our Kochi office and remain flexible to engage in calls and work according to US schedules when required.
