Associate - System Engineer
We are looking for a Associate - System Engineer to support the maintenance and reliability of our internal systems, servers, and infrastructure. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who want to build strong foundational knowledge in Linux systems, networking, infrastructure operations, and security practices.
The selected candidate will work closely with senior engineers to maintain infrastructure stability and gradually gain exposure to cloud platforms, automation tools, and DevSecOps practices.
This role provides a strong learning path towards Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and DevSecOps roles within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
-Assist in maintaining internal servers, systems, and infrastructure environments.
-Monitor system performance, services, and alerts to ensure high availability.
-Support routine system maintenance, patching, and updates.
-Assist in server setup, configuration, and troubleshooting under supervision.
-Monitor backup processes and verify successful backup operations.
-Review system logs and report anomalies or potential issues.
-Assist in maintaining infrastructure documentation and system configurations.
-Provide basic technical support related to infrastructure systems when required.
-Support troubleshooting of system and network issues alongside senior engineers.
-Participate in improving infrastructure reliability and operational processes.
Requirements
-Basic understanding of Linux operating systems
-Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP, DNS, HTTP, firewalls)
-Familiarity with system troubleshooting and command-line usage
-Basic understanding of computer systems and infrastructure concepts
-Interest in cloud computing, infrastructure automation, and security
-Basic scripting knowledge (Bash / Shell / Python – beginner level acceptable)
-Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
-Willingness to learn and work in infrastructure and security domains
-Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
-Diploma / Degree / B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, or related field
-Exposure to Linux environments through projects or coursework
-Basic awareness of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
-Understanding of virtualization concepts
-Any relevant certifications or courses in Linux, Cloud, or Networking are a plus
