QC Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QC Engineer with strong experience in API testing, automation testing, and database validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, Selenium, and Appium, along with a solid understanding of SQL and test automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Conduct API Testing using Postman and SOAP UI.
Develop and execute automation test scripts using Selenium and Appium.
Validate backend data using SQL queries.
Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
Participate in requirement analysis and provide test estimations.
Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the SDLC.
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
Strong experience in API Testing
Hands-on experience with:
Postman
SOAP UI
Automation Testing experience using:
Selenium (Web Automation)
Appium (Mobile Automation)
Good knowledge of SQL and database testing
Understanding of testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
Experience in manual and automation testing

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering
2+ years of relevant experience in software testing
Experience in Agile environment is an added advantage
Knowledge of CI/CD tools is a plus
