Accounts Supervisor

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS).
- Experience with IT billing models (T&M, Fixed Cost, Retainers, SaaS).
- Proficiency in: ERP/Accounting Software, Advanced Excel
- Strong understanding of receivables management and revenue tracking.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The ideal candidate should
- Prepare and review project billing based on contract type
- Work with delivery managers and IT technical teams to verify time sheets, resource allocation, and milestones before invoicing.
- Track recurring revenue, renewals, and subscription-based billing cycles.
- Monitor outstanding receivables, send reminders, and coordinate with clients for collections.
- Assist project managers in defining budgets, resource costing, and forecasting project margins.
- Track project profitability, utilization %, cost per resource, and billability benchmarks.
- Monitor Work in Progress (WIP) and ensure timely invoicing.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS statements, and dashboards for management.
- Monitor expenses, vendor payments, payroll postings, and accruals.
- Train and guide IT teams on billing rules, documentation requirements, and commercial terms.
Serve as a finance point of contact for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with Tax, VAT/GST, corporate regulations, and internal policies.
