Kubernetes Admin/System Admin(On-site, Mumbai)

Stationed at the client's premises in Mumbai, with 2–4 years of experience. They deploy the Redacto platform on the client's infrastructure and keep it running.

The job

Install, configure and upgrade the platform on the client's Kubernetes, on-prem or in the client's AWS, Azure or GCP account.
Run it day to day: health and capacity monitoring, backups, patches and upgrades in agreed change windows.
Handle L1/L2 incidents: triage, fix, or escalate to the Cochin DevOps team with logs and a diagnosis.
Work with the client's IT, network and security teams on firewall rules, DNS, certificates, storage and access.
Keep runbooks, environment documents and change records current.

Must have

Kubernetes administration: Helm deployments, troubleshooting pods, networking and storage, cluster upgrades.
Linux administration (RHEL or Ubuntu) and shell scripting.
Networking fundamentals: DNS, load balancers, firewalls, proxies and TLS certificates.
On-prem or private data centre experience: VMware or bare metal, with OpenShift, Rancher or upstream Kubernetes.
Working exposure to at least one of AWS, Azure or GCP.
Clear written and spoken communication, and comfort working on-site alongside a client's IT team.

Good to have

Air-gapped installs and private registries such as Harbor or Nexus.
Database backup, restore and replication on PostgreSQL or similar.
Prometheus, Grafana and ELK.
ITIL-style change and incident management on ServiceNow or similar.
CKA, RHCSA or a cloud associate certification.
