SOFTWARE TESTER

We are looking for a skilled Software Tester with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring software quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases to identify bugs, improve performance, and ensure our applications meet the highest standards before release.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze system requirements and user stories.

Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases (manual and automated).

Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and defects.

Collaborate closely with developers and project managers to ensure timely issue resolution.

Conduct regression testing and verify bug fixes.

Perform functional, integration, and performance testing as needed.

Ensure product quality across multiple platforms, devices, and environments.

Prepare and present clear test reports and defect summaries.

Participate actively in sprint planning and QA process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

2–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.

Proficiency in manual testing; basic exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).

Experience with bug-tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla.

Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools.

Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice to Have (Advantages):

Experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript).

Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

Exposure to mobile app testing or cross-browser testing tools.
